Who are we?

Shycocan Corporation is a start-up with global presence, headquartered out of Singapore. We are driven by innovation and a zeal to create safe virus free environment and are the forerunners in the establishment of ‘Virus Defence’ devices. Our primary product, Shycocan, is world’s first virus attenuation device and a scientifically-proven safe and effective solution against the transmission of viral infections and coronavirus in enclosed spaces [To know more, read ‘What is Shycocan?’]. We have offices across the world, namely in Singapore, India and UAE, and our employees are working out several countries, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Dubai.

What is Shycocan?

Shycocan is the world’s first ‘Virus Attenuation Device’ [VAD] which provides protection against the transmission of viral infections, flu and coronavirus in air and on surfaces. Built prior to the pandemic in 2018, it uses unique technology, free from UV, ionization, and filters, and thus provides no harm to humans, animals, or the environment. The process known as ‘virus attenuation’ disables the positive charge of such viruses which usually attaches to the  negatively-charged human cell i.e. disabling its charge. Each device protects 1000 sq. ft. with a running cost equivalent to that of a 40w lightbulb. Additionally, It conforms with the regulatory requirements of the US, EU, ANZ, META, APAC.

Why are Shycocan relevant?

The relevance of Shycocan and the organisations efforts are self-evident today with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. The devastating threat caused by the virus to livelihood and health is unparalleled, and the world is struggling to keep up with, and find solutions for its rapid mutations. Beyond the COVID-19 pandemic as well, the effect of viral infections on our daily lives in underestimated, and there exists the threat of future health crises and pandemics/epidemics. Shycocan, with a proven record of 99.9% efficacy to stop the Coronavirus transmission is the key to facilitating interactions in a safe manner. The worldwide need for a ‘Virus Defence’ device is imminent as the Coronavirus and other viruses are here to stay. While vaccines are necessary and play a significant role in a health crisis, they are not sufficient. There is an imperative need for technology such as Shycocan to create safe spaces.
